Wawel is a peace of Polish history. Very important peace so try to take all offered trips.

The castle has a very prominent position in Krakow and towered over our hotel. This is a real medieval castle where there was a town within the protection of the castle walls. The church within the castle grounds is truly magnificient.

This is a must and it is beautifully preserved. Worth the visit but can get very busy later in the day

Didnt feel like entering the buildings, just looked around. It's beautiful enough from the outside. Make sure to see the courtyard next to the cathedral and go down the hill to see the fire breathing dragon every 3 minutes

it's like jumping inside a masterpiece painting :) i love the atmosphere there.

We were unable to visit the chapel because we arrived too late, but were able to see the grounds and courtyard. If you are in Krakow, this is a must see.

We spent 4 hours here mainly because we chose to do a guided tour of the private apartments and you are given an entry time on arrival so we had a 2 hour wait for that. The entry gate we used only has one booth and we waited in line 40 minutes for tickets. Take my tip - just walk... More
