This is a beautiful cathedral, but not one of the most beautiful in Europe. It is worth a visit to Wawel Hill for the view though; its gorgeous up there.

Didnt have a chance to enter, but just inside the main entrance by the door outside, look for the "monster bones" hanging on the left. Legend says the world will end if they fall down!

This is a great attraction but due to fires and decades of wars etc the inside is strangely modern with newly plastered, white washed walls. They have gathered artifacts from a wide range of sources and it gives a very good idea of the history of the castle, the country and its royal heritage.

Amazing complex of the kings of Poland. Purchase a ticket, put on your headphones and enjoy your singular personal tour and explanation as you discover another amazing slice of history.

The cathedral was beautiful. Loved to listen to the detail description of everything on the headphones. Went to the bell tower which was rather a steep climb. I dint like the fact we couldnt take any pictures except for the bell in the tower.

Beautiful historic site on the hill. Make it part of a half-day excursion to the castle.
