The monument is well-balanced and it has marvelous setting. The photos taken there are magnificent, especially in sunny May day.

The entire center of Torun is a UNESCO site but we were disappointed that mostly it was shops and restaurants and not many cultural places to see. So it was nice as a place to stop and relax with a cold drink and ice cream but not much more. We had previously visited Gdansk and spent several hours there looking...

The monument is nice, but it is just a monument. take a photo with it and you're done. But I do like the Torun old town, it is worth the visit.

I think this is very important personality in the history and it is worth to see his monument, especially as it is well preserved and situated in the most beautiful area in Torun - there is much more to see around! for example Copernicus' house, which is a museum right now. If you are in Torun, this is a must!
