Considering that this as well as most of Warsaw is only 65 plus years old,what a great job of restoring. Try not to eat at any of the squares restaurants,poor choices and overpriced. Even thou is was cold and windy ,mostly outdoor dining available .

If you are a trveler you must go in Warsaw to the old town square market it is very nice . You must see the castle and check out some great restaurants .

You can't avoid a visit, but don't expect too much

Great place to sit back and relax, good souvenirs, and awesome outdoor dining! Seat yourself. They'll look at you funny if you stand there waiting to be seated!

The square is surrounded by nice architecture but is filled mostly with so-so vendors and a few outdoor restaurants. It did not make me want to sit down and stay for a while.

The old looking buildings are so well maintained and I loved the water device in the centre that the children adored. It was full of life but not full of pedlars - beware of beggars however if sitting in outside cafes.

The bulding souroundig the square were rebuld after 1945.There are a lot of gift shops,restaurances,bars,and modern art galeries
