Amazing buildings.Restored to it's old beauty. Most of the displayed items were hidden ,before the castle was flattened during the end of the war. Take at least 3 to 4 hours for your visit. Great display of past Polish glory and history. A must see!

Like so much else in Warsaw. Not terribly exciting and no real sense of history left here. Little explanation and little to see.

I could rave on and on - but the Galleria with the fabulous paintings are worth a visit on their own. There are two most magnificent Rembrandts which haunt me to this day. The visit to the palace is wonderful and has been restored magnificently.

Hmm, I think Sunday afternoons you can get in for free, but I'm not certain. It is overpriced otherwise. You must go dwn to the basement first to drop off coats and bags etc. It is a lot to take in, and obviously it ha been rebuilt as the Nazi's dynamited it during WWII. If you are interested in history,... More

The Royal Castle in Warsaw was the official residence of the Polish monarchs until 1795. It is located at the entrance to the Warsaw Old Town. The personal offices of the king and the administrative offices of the Royal Court of Poland date from the 16th century. After the devastation done by Nazis during the Warsaw Uprising, the Castle was... More

Beautifully redone after the WWII destruction. I went for the tour on a Sunday and wasn't aware it was a free day. You can take a self-guided tour or guided. I did the self. Nice way to spend an afternoon

The history behind its original construction and later reconstruction is very interesting.
