The entrance is at the east! A gift from Uncle Stalin this ugly building contains several different businesses. Cinema, science museum, cultural exhibits, etc. I did just go there for the views. You buy a ticket up the stairs and to the right. 10 minutes wait for the elevator which takes about 45 seconds. A lot of school children, but... More

This review is in two parts - the overall "Palace", and the Science Museum within it. Palace: Stalin's "gift" to the people of Warsaw- a huge piece of Red Moscow architecture dropped into a draughty square by the station. Just about worth the few zloties charged for taking a lift to the 30th floor viewing platform. Expect to be swamped... More

If you have time, it is worth it just to marvel at the massiveness of the structure. The trip up to the top is a bit pricey by Polish standards, but you are subject to a real communist era treat of waiting for the one elevator with the surly attendant. Yeah, it is all a bit run down, but it... More

I can't knock it to much for what it is, it offers a great vantage point to have a 360 view of Warsaw, unfortunately its not the prettiest of views.

Sounds great for the football fan. It's just a small collection of shirts worn by Polish players or swapped with opponents after the match plus a stack of scarves a few pennants and trophies, a video game (no English instructions) and a video of Polish football's greatest hits. Nothing of any historical interest

See link to the Wikipedia link in my review for a sense of how the Poles received this "gift."

Although this structure does not fit the centre of the modern city at all, still it is the most recognizable building reminding all the people about the communist history of the country.
