The Institute of Jewish History was the first stop on our visit to Warsaw. The facility is compact with a photography exhibit on the first floor dealing mainly with documents about the Ringelblum archives from the Warsaw Ghetto. Upstairs however is a 30 minute film with footage from the Jewish Ghetto. The whole history of the Jewish experience comes alive....

I was underwhelmed with this facility. I found the one floor of photos of the Jewish experience in Warsaw very interesting and was pleased that there were English translations for the captions. However, I wished there was more to the exhibition, My biggest disappointment was that I was unable to see the movie that previous reviewers found so extraordinary. I...

This cultural center is hidden away and hard to get to but very much worth it. It has the most amazing and heartbreaking primary source documentation of the Warsaw Ghetto and the tragic Jewish history in Warsaw. There were only a few people there when we were there. We were invited to see in movie, in English. It was available...
