Prozna Street must be preserved, but how? The street is remarkable and to walk along it is a truly unique experience, possibly on a worldwide scale.But how much longer can the buildings last in their perilous condition? Ulica Prozna (Prozna Street) was once part of the Warsaw Ghetto. Most of the ghetto buildings were destroyed during the war. The ones that survived are almost gone. This is the only street in Jewish Warsaw where the buildings have been preserved on both sides of the street. They were never restored and sadly are now falling apart. We visited... more
