As you expect from zoo - nothing special, but not bad - nice relax from the city noise, good for kids.

"straż miejska" is just waiting happily if you park wrongly - you get a fine. Waited an hour to get the entrance tickets.

The zoo is well located, on the other side of the river in a beautiful par. Animals have a lot of space, so you don't feel as much sorry for them. Great place to go with kids.

I love zoos and animal based attractions in general. This zoo is overall very nice. Not terribly modern, but clean and spacious with a wide variety of unique exhibits. The exhibits themselves were generously sized and seemed appropriate for the animals in with they housed. With that being said, water management seemed to be an issue and a lot of... More

Small, but clean zoo. Quite interesting, monkeys, lions, tigers, panteras, elephants and so on.

Located almost at the riverside of Vistula, Warsaw City Zoo is good place to start a day with. There are plenty of attractions for animal lovers, including newly build pavilions (try the creepy insectarium if you have guts) for different species. Weakest part of the zoo is gastronomy - there are only fast food based bars, so I highly recommend... More

Always pleasant to go there with the kids. A modern zoo, full a funny animals, which are living in a modern, clean, peaceful atmosphere. A wide variety of animals, but also a pleasant park. In summer, both gates (West and East) are opened, with tram access on both sides. In Winter, only the Eeastern gate is opened. 10 minutes walking... More

The Warszawa zoo is a nice get-away from the city close to the city center. Not too many animals crowded together, but more like a garden or park, featuring individual houses for different species. Recommended for families and if the weather is good.

My sister and I were very eager to visit the zoo after reading the fabulous book "The Zookeeper's Wife". We followed the directions given on the site - Metro and then tram to Praski Park. It was a lovely ride across the Wisla, and very easy to find. We were initially disappointed, as no one understood that two crazy American... More
