The exhibits and interactives are pretty cool, and it’s really amazing to see facsimiles of Chopin’s pieces. I didn’t really care to know about his fascination with gobs of women and his affairs, but I guess people find that interesting. He seemed like a fun-loving, happy person when he was younger, but he also had some very dark times later... More

Well, it is brand new museum, it was open before Chopins year in 2010. You can enjoy not only Chopins family history, but listen to music. What I mean you can listen to mazurkas, nokturns, polonais, waltzes and sonats. If you are lucky you can enjoy a concert, I would recommend a visit but you should be prepared that you... More

The technology is incredible - absolutely a music lover's dream museum. One complaint: I found no rhyme or reason to the organization of the exhibits. Despite the puzzling layout, I would still recommend a visit. Service at the main desk (where you purchase your tickets) was quite poor, but the people inside the museum were very nice. If you do... This is supposed to be a state-of-the-art museum that highlights the life and work of Chopin. Unfortunately, the museum hides behind technological gimmicks and gizmos, and Chopin's life and work are a second thought. You learn little about Chopin's inspirations, and how his Polish upbringing influenced his music. Sadly disappointing.

It was supposed to be most modern museum in Warsaw, and maybe it is. But it has nothing really absoring, and you wont know the Chopin better after visiting this place. You better take a walk by the Tamka Street and get yourself lost in beautiful Powiśle District which surrounds this museum.

we visited chopin museum today and it was big, big dissapointment. i like to visit museums, because for me it's great chance to learn something, new facts about people or things. but there i learned nothing. firstly, we felt like there is no vision there -it's just bunch of staff here and there, no directions where to start, where to... On the day of our visit, the museum officials were offering free entrances I think because of some filming activity taking place there. We spent around 2 to 3 hours in there. The presentation inside the museum was great, with interactive screens and books, etc.. If you love Chopin, you'll love the museum.

Sadly, the interactive technology here gets in the way of the music. A card system is used that allows only one person at a time to actually listen to anything. Even though there were relatively few people when we visited, we had to skip many of the listening stations because it just wasn't possible to wait. The whole system here... More

This impressive looking and ultra modern museum ultimately underwhelms its almost as though the focus on fancy technology and feng shui has taken a more important role than the music.

Excellent, high-tech museum where one could read fascinating tidbits about the life of Chopin, as well as be immersed in the amazing music he wrote.
