When you are in Bled you will have to take a trip on a boat out to the island, to look around the church and ring the bell. No more than an hour required there.

The church on the island in the middle of the lake looks like a fairy tale. Though small, the interior of the church is just beautiful. This only takes an hour (15 minutes each way to go out and 30 minutes for the island) and well worth doing.

Don't visit Lake Bled and skip the island! It is so beautiful and peaceful to visit and offers a different Bled experience. The boatride over was enjoyable even though we went there in light rain. Nice views of Bled town from there. Overall a peaceful outing and very romantic.

Great place, worth to see, really bueautiful in may - not so crowded and full of blooming trees. It's nice to take a boat to the island /15euro per 1hour for a paddle boat for 4-6 person/

Make sure you go and ring the wishing bell, but be careful what you wish for :)

It is definitely one of the most beautiful places in Slovenia. Surrounded by Slovenian mountains and very clear water. Even the trip with the boat is worth your money and your time! Don't forget to try the ˝Bled cremeschnitte = Bled cream cake˝ in one of the bars-restaurants.
