Very easy to get to from the centre. It's a steep but safe walk - there is a funicular lift available. Charming small castle with a 'Toytown' style clock tower. Only takes a couple of hours all in. more

Ljubljana Castle is best visited for its spectacular panoramas. As a castle, it's not terribly interesting in terms of architecture (at least in my uneducated opinion) and not very pretty to look at.
