Preseren Square is next to the triple bridge and other sightseeing attractions. There is an undercover large cafe in the square with reasonable prices. Other outlets in the area include a McCafe and some more local bars and coffee houses. The square is a natural starting point for sightseeing in Ljubljana

Locals usually meet at Prešeren square, since it is in the very heart of the pedestrian zone and next to the lovely Three bridges. Follow the gaze of the statue of the Slovenian most famous poet France Prešeren and you will see a portrait of his beloved Julija on the facade of the opposite building.

Lovely square, like the rest of the city is feels very safe. We were helped by some locals to get to where we wanted. They approached us asking if we needed help, we were very impressed.

Loved the vibrancy of the square. People of all ages walking, strolling, sitting.... busy from morning to night ... everyone out enjoying life.

Very attractive square with beautiful buildings. Good place to meet up for coffee or a drink. River is alongside and the Triple Bridge.

This square is in the middle of everything, near the triple bridge, the city market. A meet point. Preseren was their most famous poet and deserved a statue for sure.

It's a nice little square, with a very home-ly feeling. Definetely a 'must visit' place in Ljubljana.
