The caves are really worth a visit.scenery is magnificent but spoilt by those who do not consider that taking photos is bannned and is also ruining the area. Why don't the staff enforce the ban? I complained but the staff only said Oh they shouldn't use flash . That's not what the signs say!!! memories can be stored very easily... more

A visit to the caves is compulsory once in Slovenia. The entrance to the main cave is well kept and well organized. Spacious and nice on the outside. The cave trip started with a ride on the 'cave train' that takes you further into the caves than would be possible by walking. This is a tricked out tourist attraction, but it is lovely. Vendors with some nice handmade glass, jewelry, fresh fruit stands, ice cream, t-shirts, etc. A restaurant in a stunningly beautiful building.
