The free tour with Adam was a great was to get a feel for the city from a local perspective as he shared his experience of life in Budapest. Adam was friendly and knowledgable with a real sense of pride and enjoyment in being able to show his city. Despite the cold weather it was a lovely way to spend... More

Don't miss Free Budapest Tours on your next trip! Our guide Àdám Botta told us so many interesting, funny and unusual backgroundstories about the main sights of Pest and Buda - a very special and enriching experience. I learned so much, even tough I had already lived in Budapest for a couple of months. The tour made me look at... More

We did the general tour with Adam who is very passionate and knowledgable about his city. Considering he had experienced the communist times he was very knowledgeable and had contacts in the attractions and showed us places to eat and drink. Must do tour and don't forget the tip! More

I visited Budapest for a long weekend in early January and took time to do the FREE BUDAPEST tour which was totally excellent. The guide, Orsi, was toally captivating with her excellent knowledge and very cheerful and friendly approach. Her personal and family history really brought home the contrasts between the communist era and now and made me realise how... More

Thanks so much to Vicky and Ursula! We enjoyed the morning tour so much that we joined the afternoon as well. It was freezing cold, raining and windy, but our guides' engaging stories and personal approach made it a great experience...and they always managed to lead us to a warm spot just before the chill got too much :) More

I went with a group of 12 people inbetween 21-26 years old and we all had a great time in both tours: morning and afternoon. The only problem actually was that they were close in time and we had not much time for lunch, but that's because we decided to make both tours the same day. They gave us historical... More

We covered a few interesting sites at a glance and got some background information. However, the tour must be complemented with other sites on Pest. It's a good way to cover a part of the Pest side. More

I recently visited Budapest with a friend and we decided to take the walking tour which goes through the whole Buda part of the city( but there is also a morning tour to explore Pest). I found it very nice and interesting, our guide was well informed and prepared and told us a lot about the history of the city,... More

We joined the free "basic Pest tour" this morning and liked it a lot. Our kind and friendly guide made this tour a very pleasant event. Fluent and clear english, easy to understand and open for questions of all kind combined with an interesting timetravel through magyar history - highly recommended if you have some 1,5 hours to spent! Closing... More
