Grandious building with large areas both inside and outside. The sauna was just as hot as it should (95 c), the cold tub next to it made me refreshed and dizzy, waves quite authentic in the outdoor pool. My favorite is the women section with beautiful mosaic and hot steam sauna. I've only visited this spa and the szechenyi and... More

I initially did not want to give in to what I though would be a usual touristic rip off. Far from that! As go for this amazing experience, you need to come prepared with : your own towel, flip flops, swimming suit and hat, shower gel and shampoo. If you are not equipped you can buy last minute items at... More

Lovely experience. Went for a swim and hot soak. Very interesting building. Lots of different therapy possibilities.

Great steam bath from the Turkish times, no bathing suits, just a rope.

Gellert spa is definetly an experience. First half an hour you try to understand where are the lockers and how to use them and then the next half an hour you look for the pools ;) So quite a complex! After you have found your way, its great =)The warm outside pool and outside sauna is wonderful, when its still... More

The spa is fantastic. Massage was great, especially at the end of a day walking around the city.

Its no Banff Springs Spa, but the baths here are well worth a stop. You'll experience culture, beauty and get to relax. I spent 9100 Huf on entry with cabin and an aroma massage which was good and cheap! Overall a relaxing time. Did the main pool (bought a swim cap aka shower cap for 100 Ft), outside thermal pool,... The spa itself is worth visiting simply for enjoying the building and design. However the whole experience was made a total misery by the sheer rudeness of all the staff. Signage is non existent, the changing rooms and showers are dire and all staff were just down right rude, disinterested, unfriendly and basically highly unpleasant. This rudenss of the spa... More

Why should this place is considered nice?! First of all the customer service is the worst that I have met in Budapest. They are extremely unpleasant!!! When I was there someone stole our rented towels (we suspect that someone of the staff steal it in order to keep the money of the deposit) and we lost 13€. The biggest swimming... More

The Spa was beautiful and the pools quite nice, if incredibly confusing. We didn't really know what to do or where to go with a serious lack of signage, and someone stole my towel. I ended up cold, wet and lost - not my idea of a pleasant travel experience.
