Raday-utca, Budapest. The Street where we are staying has a special spirit an individual character. It is dominated by galleries, restaurants, outdoor and indoor cafes. Amazingly, there are about one every 20 steps with so many options. At the moment we are having coffee, so delicious. Come and join and share that impression!

When I was visiting Budapest, Hungary this summer, I opted for a small guided tour of the city - and it turned out to be the best choice I could make. There are various themed tours these guys offer, for all sorts of tastes - I chose a general tour, and liked it so much that went back for an... More

I've been before in Budapest and discovered a lot on my own, but after being guided by this well informed man I feel much richer in my knowledge about the city. Should have know him the first time I was here.

I went to visit this hungarian capital for the first time for a long week-end. It is very charming and the people were too! The whole experience is better then expected especialy after touring Prague, which has better publicity than Budapest. Although, it is so enjoyable and down to-earth!!! I am very independent traveller, so I can't support large tourist... More

We just spent a most enjoyable week in Budapest. What a fascinating city! Everyone should make it a must-see on their European itenerary. Our stay was busy with cultural activities, culinary pleasures and a variety of guided and spontaneous city strolls. This is how we discovered the walks lead by our fun and smart guide Andrew(Andrash). It was such a... More

We not only have had the absolute pleasure of visiting Budapest last week, but have also had the honour of being shown this splendid city by Andras. Andras is an exceptional tour guide, his passion, historical knowledge, mastery of the English language, ability to mould a personal tour according to our specific interests, his flexibility and personable nature, not to... My suggestion for anyone wanting to experience Budapest as an insider - arrange for Andras to show you his city. I met Andras while on business in Paris. Last month we took a family trip through Prague, Budapest and Krakow. With only a short time in Budapest, Andras showed us a great time. We packed a lot of sightseeing into... More

I have recently had a fantastic experience I believe worth sharing with my fellow travellers! I'm one of the thousands of expats enjoying his/her life in Budapest. Despite that I've been working here for several years, I had somehow failed to explore some of BP's more hidden gems, apart from the more obvious attractions of the capital . Then, a... More

I had never been to Budapest, and Andras' tour was the perfect intro to the city. He is funny and charming with a wealth of knowledge about the city's history and culture. His tour took us off the beaten path to some real hidden gems, and he has a true appreciation for the city's beautiful architecture. Budapest Essence is a... More
