Does not compare to parks in my home country, New Zealand. Although nice to have a picnic here after seeing concrete for 7 days straight.

We spent the whole morning strolling around the beautiful Margaret Island. It is a little gem in the middle of the Danube! A haven of peace and tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle of the more 'touristy' areas. Don't miss the Japanese water gardens (home to the noisiest frogs you've ever seen!!!)

We went there on a Saturday and it was full with locals and tourists- getting a tan, walking and eating ice cream, jogging... nice for a walk but if you want to see all the island rent some kind of transportation (available there)

A beautiful place to spent a few hours. You can walk around the island, or take a small train, golf buggy or double bikes (we did this and had great fun). If you have children the swimming pool looks amazing but the zoo was disappointing.
