It has a wonderful historical picture gallery on fresh air, beautiful sorroundings and with excellent sight-seeings.
The Museum is located in the Buda Castle, probably the most important attraction in Budapest. I had great hopes for this museum thinking it would shed light on the history of Budapest as a city, but there were two major disappointments - 1) too much of the history is from medieval times and before, full of artifacts such as tablets, tools, ornaments, etc rather than a clear thread of a chronological story of the city...
