I thought this church was just so-so. I guess I've seen so many churches (and we went to St. Stephen's that morning) that this one didn't impress me all that much. If you've travelled extensively in Europe, this church is a definite must-see. The walls inside are painted, giving the church a very different feel than other churches in the region. The church is undergoing major reconstruction, repairing damage, incurred during WW2, to the bell tower. The parts open to visitors are well worth 800HUF, the atmosphere is pleasant (ignoring the drill & hammer noises). more
