This bridge is walkable and provides great views. Many times there are festivals or people selling things day or night. Walking in Budapest is a great way to get around and see the city. Make sure you plan a night-time stroll along the Danube and across the Chain Bridge. more

Buda to Pest is a short walk. We stayed in Pest, and walked right over, and then took the furnicular up to the Castle District. If it's crowded there isn't much walking room at times. Go early, or late and you will be find. If visibility is good, you have a great view of Parliament and the National Gallery. A... more

Even before leaving for Budapest, I couldn't waited to see the Chain Bridge. Is the oldest bridge over Danube and Impressive!!! Take a photo with the lions at each end and have fun walking while watching the city. If you go up the Castle Hill, you can catch a beautiful view of the Chain Bridge as well. more
