....Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty.... There are numerous sigtseeing place, like a castle, nice thermal lake with ducks, playground for children, it can be an ideal place for picnic as well.

We saw this park as we were walking back from Szechenyi baths. It's beautiful with the castle and other historic buildings as statues as well as wide open spaces for kids to run around. Im not fan of modern building trying to look like old castles. But, Varosliget park is simply great place to relax, with castle or without it. If you are tired by walking just go there, sit and enjoy it... nothing more, nothing less. And it has good position in bus network.

Very Pleseant Place for Families, visitors and those who want to have some leasure times by the free air and pleseant places.

Full of interesting statues and lovely trees and shrubs but also lots of open space. A lovely park

Not the biggest park you will find in Budapest, but definitely one of the most charming. The nearby Vajdahunyad Castle adds to the beauty of the scene here. Forget benches, take a seat on the grass!

Pleasnat contrast to the busy city with some interesting buildings within it.

Ice skating in the winter, art on the water in the summer, some museums, cafes - have been to nicer in other cities. Not that special.

City park, huge with lots of well managed play ground and historical buildings.
