The park is a nice place but has nothing really spectacular to offer.

We saw this park as we were walking back from Szechenyi baths. It's beautiful with the castle and other historic buildings as statues as well as wide open spaces for kids to run around. I believe there is a small zoo near it as well. We didn't have enough time to explore all of it. You can easily find it... More

Im not fan of modern building trying to look like old castles. But, Varosliget park is simply great place to relax, with castle or without it. If you are tired by walking just go there, sit and enjoy it... nothing more, nothing less. And it has good position in bus network.

Not the biggest park you will find in Budapest, but definitely one of the most charming. The nearby Vajdahunyad Castle adds to the beauty of the scene here. Forget benches, take a seat on the grass!
