Considering that Hungary is not really a sea nation, it's a good collection of interesting fish and other funny underwater creatures. (The problem is that it's out of the centre, but bus 233E will take you there on weekdays in 25 minutes.)

Aquariums always impress children. Expecially the part where you can walk under the big tank with sharks and kinds of different colourful fishes !

Very beautiful, one-of-a-lifetime experience, if you like underwater world. Be prepared, it is pretty expensive, compared to other things you can do in Budapest. However parking is free, and in the nearby is my favourite restaurant Istvan Tanya! http://istvantanyavendeglo.hu/index.php?menu=etlapok&lang=en

Wow were we impressed with this place. I knew we were going to a place in a mall so my expectations were kinda low. Shouldn't have been at all in the end. LOVE the tunnel through the shark/sting ray tank. For such a small space, it sure packs a punch! Son loved it too. Highly recommend.
