This museum wasn't on my 'must see' list for Budapest, but it was extremely enjoyable. The museum consists of three rooms filled with Liszt memorabilia which, perhaps without the audio guide, wouldn't have held as much interest, however with the audio guide was fascinating. This museum isn't sign-posted so it's not the easiest place to find. It's located on Vorosmarty utca, on the opposite side of the road from the Terror Museum. Whilst only consisting of three rooms, this is a special place for anyone with a passing interest in Liszt, his life and his music. The entrance fee is great value at only 600 Ft., probably the price of a beer on the Square named after the composer. Be warned that you will be asked to wear funny little fabric slippers... More
