If you have time, it is a nice walk along this lovely street--large classic buildings up to the Heroes Square with its museums and monuments. Another option would be to take the metro under the street that was built in the 1890s--charming, old fashioned. The first in Europe to run on electricty. more

Barcelona has La Rambla, Berlin has Unter den Linden, Paris has the Champs Elysee, and.... Budapest has Andrassy utca. This gorgeous boulevard runs from Deak Ferenc Ter to City Park and the entire walk is delightful.
