This was a fantastic little museum. It is really good value for money and exhibits some of Vasarely's best in a compact but beautiful space. Located in Obuda, this museum dedicated to Victor Vasarely is well worth a visit to view Vasarely's odd geometric & angular eye-gogglers.
Easily found four stops North on the Szentendre HEV (included on the travel passes), it is just outside the railway station in a curious area of the city: near a quaint square surrounded by tower blocks & flyovers....

My husband loves Vasarely so he was determined to visit this museum during our short visit to Budapest this summer. It is not well advertised and was difficult to find. It is on the Pest side but several locals including the taxi driver had no idea where it was located and there was almost no signage. We did get there...
