Choose from many of the small towns dotted around the lake and go cycling. We halted at Gyenesdias at a pension and the family was so adorable. Rented bikes from them and cycled for almost 50 kms in a day :)

This lake is beautiful as ever. Be very selective when finding accomodations. If you expect decent rooms you must choose 4 star or higher if you can even find it.
