I agree with a previous reviewer, there isn't much to do here but it's worth a short visit! I loved the juxtaposition of the mosque and the church. If you are interested in history and religion, go and visit. Also, the view from the entrance of the main square is great for pictures.
This is not a lot to see and do, but it's worth the visit to see and better understand the history of Hungary and the region.
It seems kind of weird to be sitting in Catholic church with clearly defined Islamic architecture, an Islamic prayer nook and even faded verses of the Korran on the wall. The Gazi Kaszim Mosque is in the heart of the city, so visiting it is easy once you get to Pecs. The Mosque is a 20 minute walk from the railway station, a nice walk in summer time. An interesting place to visit if you are on Pecs.
