Just spent a summer saturday night in Bratislava on a trip enroute between Budapest (got there by Hydrofoil $60ish US+ 5 hours) and Prague (took a Sunday train $40ish US 6 hrs). Bratislava was a fresh smelling respit from the big city grime of Budapest. Old town is about the only place the tourists seem to go (including us). It... more

Everything you would expect to find in an old town - the main square, the historical building, the cathedral, a number of churches, the remains of part of the fortifications, and a a number of narrow streets.
