Can't believe there is only one review of the museum. Anyone who goes to Kaunas, even if it's just overnight on the way to Vilnius, has to see this place. Ciurlionis was an amazing man, with the talent not just to combine the skills of painter and composer, but to link the two disciplines in a way i would not... more

HOW is there no review for this place yet? I'm reposting my recommendation that I just posted in response to some's question on what there is to do in Kaunas: One of the absolutely world class attractions in Kaunas is the M K Ciurlionis Gallery which is attached to the very dumpy (and underfunded, needing lots of repair) National Gallery.... more
