This is a free tour by students, takes about 2 hours and leaves from outside the information office each day including Sundays. We were lucky to get Heli, she was dramatic, funny and informative. This is the first time we have done a free tour but based on this we would definitely do them again. Thanks for a wonderful tour,... More

Heli showed us the city with her great sense of humour. She knows a lot about the estonian history, culture and interesting little, funny storys and legends about many buildings. The walk through the medieval streets of Tallinn takes place every day and it's free. You get further informations at the non-official-tourist information point, which is organized by some extremely... More

Our guide was a young woman who really gave a fresh insight. Everything from youth culture to to how her family lived during the occupation. She spoke excellent English. Try and go on your first day.

The tour was great fun and very intersting. 2 h filled with storys about live in Estland, politics, strange stories and not to forget beautiful Tallinn. I came close to the People here. Brave and clever guys, great dancers, freedom loving, The young lady Heli was extremely nice and they do it for a tip, she has 7 kids. Unbelieveable.

Can't complain about anything that is free, and I'm sure the tour is wonderful - but if your time in Tallinn is limited, you might be better served by booking some sort of paid tour that will definitely take place. I verified this tour by email on the day prior to my day in Tallinn (21.4.12) but for some reason... More

A free walking city tour starts daily, at midday, from outside the Tourist Information Office. The tour is conducted by students. Our guide was named Carol she was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and entertaining. We were a very cosmopolitan bunch and all the group seemed to enjoy the tour. A tip at the end was optional
