We visited Tallin Song Festival grounds whilst walking back from Pirita to The Old Town. A very interesting place, right on the sea front. The whole area round it was also a monument to those who had died in the war, very interesting.

If possible, time your visit so you get to actually attend a song or dance festival. Otherwise it is just a field with a stage, althought, of course, it still has great historical significance to Estonians, as per Singing Revolution.

We were lucky enough to be there during the yearly "song festval" that is held every year to celebrate Estonia's seperation from Soviet rule. The music "shell" can hold 2,500 people.
