For those who rarely visit seaside, it is going to be excellent. For those who are used to stony beaches it is going to be excellent. For those are used to well serviced sandy beaches - just another beach.

Went for a walk on Easter Monday and was pleasantly surprised on the thousands of people walking there. Strange to see a beach with snow but I guess Summer would be packed with sun worshipers

I bike here every day. Beautiful cloudless day for a mountain biking slalom through the forest today. In June and July we swim at 11:30 pm and it's not dark yet.

although the water is not too warm usually, the white sand and mostly calm see makes it a perfect place for relaxation in summer

White sand beach. Nice wooden architecture. Warmest season to visit is in summer especially in July. Easy reachable by public transport: train and small buses from Riga City center.

The sand is very fine, the beach itself is very wide and enough space for all sun lovers. The sea is very shallow here, to get into deep you have to go quite far into the water. Perfect to take a long bike ride for many miles.

White sand, clean, not too crowded, lots of cafes next to the beach.
