Located in a beautiful district, this museum illustrates the way of life in 1903 (I believe so). It's got beautiful interior but I found it a bit overpriced because it's like about 10 rooms only. Worth a visit if you are into Art Nouveau style.

I have visited this site on Sunday afternoon. The entry is 2 LATS and one has to pay additional 1.2 LATs to take photographs. The museum is located in the ground floor apartment restored to its original décor of the early 20th century.
The apartment is beautiful with a lot of official features. Pay attention to the ceiling and details...

A must visit 'museum' for art nouveau interior fanatics. The appartment has been refurbished almost completely to it's original state and the authentic art nouveau furniture, art and clothing give a high quality cachet. It's small but beautiful. Take your time to enjoy the details and talk to the staff walking around the museum in old dresses, they add to...

This is a lovely little museum set in an original Art Nouveau house - in teh Apartment of the original Architect. It is laid out and furnished as it would have been in about 1910, and has very informative guides in each room - in various languages. I just missed a tour of Russian schoolchildren, and had the place to...

Having found some amazing buildings this museum really helped to put the whole into context. A 10 minute video answered all dates and style questions and was followed by a fascinating tour of the art nouveau apartment where an architect and his wife lived at the turn of the century. The clothes in the wardrobe were beautiful, the stained glass...

For all who love Art Nouveau style - worth a visit several times
This was a nice art nouveau museum. I consists of an art nouveau style museum opened in 2009 after few years of restoration. Several rooms make up the museum, including kitchen, dining room, bedroom etc. We paid 1,5 LVL per person at a discounted rate; in front of the museum there is a very nice art nouveau gift shop.
