Look for the yellow suitcase by the town hall at 12.00 and you´re in for a treet. It´s a free tour but do remember to tip the guide a couple of lats. It will last for about 2-3 hours and you will see all the interesting things OUTSIDE the old town.

Very nice opportunity to see a tiny bit of riga that's outside the old town: the huge central market, the soviet-style science faculty, some art nouveau and a guide that can answer all your weird questions about Lativa!

A wonderful tour around Riga for anyone who likes to see the city by walking around instead of taking the bus. Short enough to attend even if you're on a short weekend break, but long enough to actually see many points of interest. If you do one tour in Riga, do this one!!

We were shown Riga in a very friendly informal way. Taken to places that we would not otherwise have visited. We got to know the guide and recent Latvian history rather than just facts and figures.

I would say it was very funny and interesting. The guide i had was awesome.

An excellent start to the trip, gave you a different slant on Riga.
