In May we went to bike tour with RigaBikeTours with Marcus, who is really openminded, kind and funny guide from Australia. He showed us different prospecitve of Riga - poor streets, where russian minority lives, cementery, ... Places that are not mentioned in Lonely Planet or Rough Guide, but show you true colours of Riga. We had very enyoable 2... More

I cannot speak highly enough about what an unforgettable time my friends and I had on the bike tour, earlier this month, through Riga. It made our holiday and genuinely shows you the real Riga as well as just Old Town. The historic knowledge of each stop was sensational. Im not paid to write this/a mate etc: this is for... More

We met at the Roland statue in the Ratskaulms square. It was a 5 minute walk to a hostel/bar where they store the bikes in the basement. The bikes were new and in good condition; plenty of gears so you can easily climb the few gentle slopes en route. As advertised we saw places outside the typical old town: Parks,... More

Just had a fews days in Riga to explore and this was by far the highlight for me. If you have a choice between this and an on-foot tour where you will likely be in a very large group and only see the highlights of the Old Town, this is the one to do! I was lucky enough to be... More

Very interesting and entertaining tour through Riga. We visited areas not frequented by regular tourists and heard a lot of interesting tales of the city and the history.

Around 3 hours of bike tour to get to know Riga with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. The offered tour makes it possible to get out of the old town, although it is beautiful, to discover other areas of Riga, which one would otherwise most probably not visit. It enables to apprehend Riga in its complexity and situate it in... More

This is a 2.5 hours bicycle trip, which covers many historic and generally noteworthy places, mostly outside the Old Town of Riga (Vecriga). The guide, Marcus (English speaking), calls them "the true Riga". The value of the tour is that it helps reveal some special places in Riga, outside the 'beaten tourist path'. The tour is made in free, relaxed... More

My wife and I arrived midday to Riga and found ourselves in the square just before the bike tour would meet. We decided to give this bike tour a try and we are VERY glad that we did. We have taken bike tours in many countries, and this one was one of our favorites! Our guide did a wonderful job... More
