If you like cinema it's a place. Original interior from time of silent films with tapper, and films with live translation from other languages. Interior of 19 century theatre, marble floors, paintings on walls - more like an Opera than Cinema

if you would like to see, what does it mean classical cinema - you should visit Splendid palace!!! it has been recently renovated and looks so chic... you still can watch some classical or modern films down there are very reasonable costs

The beautiful cinema stands hidden in the very center of Riga. I had a chance to see the beauty just because I visited Tinto restaurant which have direct entrance to cinema. Never seen such a beautiful cinema if only in movies. Do visit it. They say the Riga story is great to see.

A pleasant experiance, never knew this kind of historc cinemas still existed. I would also recommed everybody to see the 30 min documenary ''Riga Story'' which is about the 800 years of Riga history. Opens your view on the city :)
