It was ok but so many of the other buildings were so unique and so beautiful it was almost lost. The architecture in Riga is amazing! The building look like wedding cakes!

This was right opposite our Hotel and we spent 3 days trying to find it. We loved the story behind the building

Don't go out of your way to see it, but if in the area, it is worth a look. Stand way back to see the two cats.

Got some good photos of the Cat House in the snow and went to the bar one Saturday night. Everyone seemed to be hammered and ordering lots and lots of shots!

Loved the cat on the turret of the house. Has a bar downstairs but that was more funky than cosy and I prefer the latter.

i was calm when i have seen those cats.. nothing wow but still cant put a negative opinion about that. just did not impressed me) thats usual. but story is nice)) find out where, at whose side cats back are turned to..))

I was there in the end of January 2011. It is very interesting building and it will take time to find cats)))

Where else could you find cats on the top of a big yellow house? We found it when we were exploring the Old City and realised that we'd walk past it many times and missed it just because we didn't look up to see the cats. Great stop for a quick photo.
