The famous Herend porcelain factory is now the largest porcelain factory in Europe still making hand made and hand painted porcelain. It is situated a short distance from beautiful Veszprem, and even if you are not much interested in porcelain, the "mini factory tour" is fascinating - and if you have never seen porcelain being made before, a revelation.
