The cosy castle surrounded by beautifull lakes looks great not only on summer. On winter time you can reach it crossing the lake on ice and watch winter sports competition at the same time.

Take a tour into Trakai Castle and go for a walk around it. Please be advised that you have to pay in cash for castle tickets and there is no ATM near the castle. Visting time will be not more 2 hours.

We first took a boat trip around Trakai (this is an extra cost). It is a great way to see this ancient castle from another perspective. I would definitely recommend doing this first.
