Bojnice castle near Prievidza is truly a hidden gem. Beautifully preserved medieval castle and stunning surroundings. The tour inside the castle is a little bit boring but its only way to wander inside. There is small souvenir shop on entrance. Parking some half km from castle cost around 3 Euro. There is small zoo. ... just looking at it and you feel like a princess :-) There is always some animation oustide the castle, while you are in a waiting line to enter the castle.

One of the best castles in slovakia. Tour is about 1.5hours. Only thing bad about it is the fee of 6.5 euros and additional 2 euros for taking pictures.
