Absolutely Stunning, and our tour guide was fantastic. I'd reccomend the museum tour after the main tour.

Could have been a wonderful trip but so badly run, especially when it come to leaving and you have to get the lift back up, its like taking you life in your hands, not for the faint hearted.

This is a worth while experience but the tour goes for a bit long. Our guide was lovely and did a great job dealing with some really painful people on our tour. It's interesting and informative. Just give this la e a go. We enjoyed it.

Travelled here by local bus for 4 zloty instead of the 250 the hotel wanted to charge for transfers. The mine ran regular tours but they were far too close together so you could often hear the tour before or after you. The trip down stairs (no lift) 380m for the tour to start was hot and exhausting and tedious!... More

Very nice place to visit. I had no idea of what a salt mine could look like, and was stunned with what I found inside. Recommended!

Guide was enthusiastic and knowledgable. Tourists only see 1.5% of the mines and that was a lot. Dont expect the carvings and statues to be out of white salt, as this mine produced mainly green salt. You will never see anything like this again.

The artwork is fantastic, I just wished there was more of it to see. Personally, I found too much time was given to how they got the salt out of the mines. Our tour guide was wonderful, though.

A truly awe inspiring place. I must confess that when my brother told me he visited a salt mine on his holidays two things crossed my mind. 1) is this where salt actually comes from and 2) how sad is he going to a mine on his holidays. I could not have been more wrong. You cannot visit Krakow without... More

Deffinately worth a visit. Only problem was that due to many school classes also visiting it was hard hearing the guide. She did do a good job though!

I was really looking forward to our visit here. The photogrpahs on Tripadvisor and elsewhere had really whetted my appetite. Overall, I couldn't give it an excellent rating, although the scale of the mines and the work, dedication and talent of the miners in creating the fantistic sculptures deserve it. It was like being on a conveyer belt. I know... More
