This "attraction" is long, boring and expensive for what you are really seeing. I would have left after 30 minutes but there isnt a way out once you decend into the mine. The cathedral is nice, but everything was carved in the late 20th century. My wife and I and my parents were not impressed and felt the time wasted.... More

My cousins pretty much dropped me off here and sped away so I figured why not give it my best to enjoy. And I did. I thoroughly, thoroughly did. The salt figures and the cathedral were just beyond anything i expected to see. The history of this location is just fascinating. This is a truly unique experience and I would... More

Really fascinating place. Def worth a visit. The descent down to the start of the tour is bit freaky but it is worth it. Some of the stalagtites and stalagmites are amazing. And the church at the centre is impressive. Esp when you consider how far underground it all is.

This place is well worth a look! Quite cheap to get in and once in there is so much to see! We were blown away by the chandeliers and other fixtures and fittings even floors being made entirely out of salt! There is a massive ballroom deep underground, made from salt! Lots of interesting carvings and lots of history and... More

A very exciting and not at least a mindbreaking trip to Krakow with its many ancient landmarks, the saltmines and the concentration camps in Auswith from WW2 etc. in the neighbourhood. Kraków has traditionally been one of the leading centres of Polish academic, cultural, and artistic life and now is one of Poland's most important economic hubs. Fully recommended!

Tour operators charge a fortune for this trip when you can get there for about £1 on the bus. All the tours are guided when you get there anyway. A very interesting and highly unusual place. Our guide was excellent and there are some truly breathtaking moments. They charge you to take photo's which is a bit cheeky as the... More

Even if you have absolutely nothing better to do still don't bother visiting these mines! Just don't get what all the excitement is about!
