The Skagen Art Museum located in this quaint small city is the place to be for those that enjoy nineteenth century Nordic Naturalist paintings.There are splendid paintings in this cozy museum by Peder Severin Kroyer,Michael Ancher,Anna Ancher,Oscar Bjorck,Carl Locher,and Christian Krohg.Most of these paintings depict the beauty of Skagen and the surrounding sea.Personal favorites were;Kroyer's"Summer Evening Skagen",Locher's"Skagen,South Beach";and Anna Ancher's"Sunlight... more
