12 girls on a trekking adventure and everything organised for us by the friendly Wildrness guides in Picton. They were professional, engaging and knowledgable. Our personal guide Glen provided us with local information along the way and led us with respect and intuition - a true people person. The lodges at the end of each night were spectacular and the... I travelled in a group of 12 ladies from Sydney on the 5 day walk. Wilderness Guides had arranged everything extremely well. From our welcome before setting out to a celebratory champagne upon our finish. Nothing was too much trouble for this team. They were flexible, friendly and helpful. Our guide, Glenn, was amazing. He shared a great deal of... More

We had a fantastic trek on the Queen Charlotte track with our wonderful guide Glen- he is very knowledgable about the area and was great fun to have along. The crew at Wilderness Guides went above and beyond to make our trip as good as it could be. Can't recommmend them highly enough.

We have just returned from a fabulous 5 day guided hiking adventure on the Queen Charlotte Track. There was 12 of us women and one very brave guide :-), who was absolutely wonderful! The beauty of having the gourmet guided trip was that everything was organised from passes, water taxi's, accommodation, lunches, morning tea, afternoon tea and real coffee in... More

I hiked the Queen Charlotte track along with 11 girlfriends Iast week and it was the best holiday experience I have had for ages. Our guide Glenn was really knowledgeable and informative and soon become part of our group as one of the girls. The scenery was amazing, the accommodation of a good standard and loads of good food. The... More

Queen Charlotte track booking for people who did not know what they were getting into - this guided tour left us only to worry about walking the track and if that wasn't our choice - gave us lots of other options. These people know what they are doing in all situations and make your trip most memorable - we would... More

We had originally booked a half day guided kayak and mountain biking tour with Wilderness Guides based in Picton, however both guides came down with something so it meant that we had to fly solo, which turned out to be a fantastic day. We were picked up from our hotel, given a safety briefing and shown how to use the... More

We took the half day guided kayak trip of Marlborough Sound (Queen Charlotte). The trip was great and the guides were excellent. 4 persons and 2 guides. We had a spectacular time and the sights were tremendous. Highly recommend this outing. Good value for the money.

Queen Charlotte 5 day guided walk with Wilderness Guides. We enjoyed an excellent 5 day guided walk with 2 very different and equally proficient guides.(Glen aka Guv and Nat). We enjoyed the information they provided, the fun and the banter, the encouragement and ability to walk at our pace. Plenty of time to enjoy the views and take photos. Well organised... More

My husband and I took a self-guided 5 day walking tour of the QC Track, organized by Wilderness Guides. We could not have been happier with the care and attention they took in preparing us for the experience and transporting both us and our luggage. I would book another trip with them in a heartbeat.
