We did the full day tour and it was amazing. A lot more interactive than any other tour since you are able to drive your own boat, which gives you a lot of independence. tour guide stops you occasionally to talk to you about interesting things you pass by. It's a family owned business and you can tell he's very... More

Found this whilst browsing on Tripadvisor and so glad I did. It really is a superb way of exploring the Marlborough Sounds. I would go again tomorrow! At first I thought it was quite expensive but it was well worth the money and I would highly recommend it. The guide was interesting and knowledgeable and added to the enjoyment of... More

Our family of 2 adults and 2 teenage children did a half day safari which proved to be a wonderful way to see Kenepuru Sound. We were a small party of four boats (another couple, and a family with a couple of young children) plus the guide boat. We had great fun each skippering our own 2-man aluminium boat after... More

I took my parents on this day trip around Kenepuru Sound. We just loved it-the sights, the boats and our excellent guide. A unique experience and a highlight of my year here in NZ so far!

We had a full day trip as our last hurrah on our trip to the South Island. We had an excellent experience from start to finish, with local advice re weather to help us decide which day to come, accurate directions and travel times from Nelson, and a fabulous, fabulous day out. The full day trip, in our opinion, was... More

We were a family of eight who had a great day out with our own little boats in Keneperu Sound. Leicester is really friendly and guides you well and the boats are fun to handle. It was my daughter's eighth birthday -- and boy, was it a special experience! Highly recommended!

Leicester and his family are perfect guides. We were a little afraid we would have to cancel due to the clouds but they helped to make the best of it anyway. They picked us up from Picton and brought us to their home business to share their love of the sounds with us. There was a small group of us,... More
