I was working in Picton for a month, and just before ileft, some friends came to visit me and we went to the Aquarium. It was designed, im sure, for children, but we loved it. The touch pool was especially great. Not bad for a small town.. more

Had to fill in a day in Picton and it was grey and rainy so this place was useful! I bought a combined ticket for the movie theatre and Aquarium. Enjoyed looking at the sea life, there are several larger tanks with local fish species and a ray and some small sharks. The place is a little tatty but didn't... more

Not much to do in Picton except wait for the ferry. We did visit the Seahorse Aquarium beside the ferry docks to view their tanks of live seahorses, all sizes. Fun to watch. Not too much else in the aquarium of great interest although they did have a preserved giant squid, one of seven in the world. more

I spent a day in Picton as my ferry was delayed and i discovered Seahorse World Aquarium on Pictons Foreshore. It is an amazing aquarium the Seahorses were fasinating. A pass to Seahorse world is for all day and with feeding times at 11 and 2 it is great. There are free guided tours where the guides give you some... more
