Great view of Holguin from this hill top cross. We went up there on a bus trip and therefore got great information regarding this.

Although we didn't enjoy holguin city centre, the trip up to the Hill of the Cross was a worth while excursion. The views from here across the city were simply amazing, and we loved the old guy with his guitar singing guantanamera, if you go, it would be nice to give him a tip, it would make him smile.

Nice view, you might get more out of it by taking the stairs if you are up for it.

The view from the top of the hill is breathtaking. You really get a total overview of almost the entire city of Holguin so you can realize just how different their large cities are from Canadian cities. Definitely a must visit.

wonderful view. Peaceful. Souvenir stand but expensive. 3-man band playing for tips. No beggars this time except for the cigar-smoking old lady seen last year. 3 or 4 beautiful old cars now taxis - Buick, Chev.

We visited Loma de la Cruz as part of the Holguin City tour. We climbed the stairs to Loma de la cruz. This will test your cardiac health.
