“A Breathtaking Road Through the Redwoods”

While making our way down south from Eureka to Mendocino, we opted for the Avenue of the Giants instead of that stretch of Highway 101. It was an excellent decision. There are so many beautiful old growth redwoods to see along this route. I'd highly recommend this route. You can stop along the way at some of the rest stops... more

The scenic, beautiful relaxing drive is for all ages. You can stay in your car the whole time, or get out and explore for days. I've been here a few times before and still love the wonder of it all.
