The drive through Glenwood Canyon immediately east of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, is one of my favorite sections of I-70 in Colorado. The canyon walls are spectacular, the Colorado River running through here is beautiful and interesting through the different seasons, and there are several nice rest stops spaced throughout. The tunnels are neat. It is a remarkable engineering feat how... More

My husband and I went together as a couple and had a fabulous time, but this place is great for kids and families too. We went white water rafting and on the zip line across the river and had a ton of fun. The staff is professional, courteous and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend... More

We came up from Denver and camped for free over by Sunlight Mountain and 4 Mile Park (about 15 miles from town actually but a really short drive). We had our 4 year old, 10 year old and 8 year old and two adults. The two older kids and one adult took the Amtrak train home to Denver for about... More

We had been here long go and loved that it is in the canyon with the Colorado River roaring by, but now!!! It has the best deck and bar overlooking the area with outstanding food as well. There are so many activities including zip lining, rafting and rock climbing.Doing then all will be expensive for a family, but it will interest... Let me start by saying no matter how much we enjoyed the Ziplining and Rope course we won't be back. We enjoyed that part of it and that was the only part we enjoyed. We get there at about 7:45ish and we had to be there at 8 am because that's when are appointment was and the office to sign... More

I want to start by saying the staff at this place have no clue what in the heck one hand is doing. You have a staff who runs the course ropes, rafting, and ziplining and they do wonderfully, they help you every step of the way and try to be understanding its the people who run the photo's after who... If you have never been on a zipline or done a ropes course then you will enjoy this. The ropes course can be a challenge in overcoming your own fear of heights. If you are older, then expect your muscles to tell you had a good time the next day too. I enjoyed this enough to want to return and... More

Stay away from this "adventure." We drove 3 1/2 hours under the pretense that this would be an exciting zip line experience across the Colorado river (as described in their brochure). It's really nothing more than a sad ropes course, with two very short runs across a stream. It was nothing like any of our other zip trips. SAVE YOUR... More
